Project Type: Conceptual/Practice Project

Timeline: 2 weeks

Role: UI/UX Designer

Tools Used: Figma, Webflow

Purpose: The website’s purpose is to create a second home where pets can feel safe, loved, and emotionally supported. By eliminating medical services and focusing on personal care, it addresses common issues like separation anxiety and depression, ensuring pets enjoy their stay in a nurturing environment.

“A conceptual project to showcase my UI/UX design skills by creating a user-friendly platform that connects pet owners with services and resources.”

HMW?

Ideate

Mind Map

After creating the mind map, I gained a clearer perspective on how the content and features of the website should connect. It helped me organize ideas and prioritize user needs, guiding me to craft a comprehensive site map.

Site Map

  • To address the needs of pet owners, I focused on designing a user-friendly platform that prioritizes trust, convenience, and personalization. This involved evaluating user pain points and brainstorming creative solutions to meet their expectations effectively.

  • I created a mind map narrowing down concepts that aligned best with user needs.

Design

“The design phase began with low-fidelity wireframes to map out the user flow for booking pet care services. After iterative feedback, I developed high-fidelity prototypes featuring a clean layout, a pastel color palette for a calming experience, and easy-to-use filters for service search.”

Lo-Fi Screens

High - Fidelity Screens

Quick Prototype to showcase how the website’s key features works.

•Visual Appeal: The design is clean, and images align with the pet-care theme.
•Clear Services Section: Information about boarding, grooming, and training is concise and user-friendly.
•Testimonials: Including user feedback builds trust.
•Contact Information: Easy to find, making the site accessible.

•The CTAs need to be more prominent (e.g., bold “Book Now” or “Contact Us” buttons on every page).
•Highlight service benefits to engage users further.
